DVT therapy that endures and improves your quality of life.

State of the Art technology is available at the AHH where intravascular ultrasound,  helps doctors see vascular pathology inside the vessel. Selection and sequence of  the appropriate endovascular therapy are important for safety an efficacy. Treatment may include use of catheter or flow-directed infusion of thrombolytic medication that dissolves and softens thrombus, thrombectomy devices for removal of acute thrombus (Trellis and Angiojet), atherectomy tools for removal or scar tissue (hyperplasia) and self-expanding metallic stents to keep the restored vascular lumen open long-term. We strive to tailor the minimally invasive surgery to a patient’s specific condition which is documented with diagnostic testing with ultrasound, CT and phlebography contrast studies.
